The Mockingbirds were built on a simple idea: wedding music doesn’t have to feel like wedding music.
We bring the energy of a packed live show to your wedding, where every song gets people moving, singing, and partying on the dance floor. Think less background entertainment, and more of a legendary night out.
The band was formed in 2016 by founder Kyle Champeon, a Berklee College of Music alum and active member of the Boston music scene. After years of playing in traditional wedding and corporate bands, he grew tired of the same recycled setlists and predictable performances. He set out to build something different and redefine what a “wedding band” could be.
No more corny choreography. No more backing tracks. No more autopilot sets. Just a real band playing real songs with a real love for what they do.
Our repertoire blends 90s and 2000s hits, pop punk, classic rock, country, pop, and crowd favorites you forgot you loved. It is familiar in the best way, built for guests of all ages without ever feeling generic or phoned in.
Every wedding is different, but the goal is always the same: a packed dance floor from the first set to the last song. We read the room, adapt in real time, and keep the energy building all night long, from singalong anthems to epic guitar solos and everything in between.

Every couple is different! We will work with you to find the perfect package for your vision and your budget. Flexible band size, services at ceremony and cocktail hour, party lighting, and live dinner music are just some of the things we have to offer.

We’ll travel all across New England for your event, whether it be the Berkshires of Western Mass, the farmlands in Vermont, Nantucket Island, or anywhere in between.
With 14 hours worth of songs in our repertoire, we come ready to keep the dance floor packed for the whole night. We’re also happy to learn songs at your request, and we are fully capable of adding a musician or instrument of your choice to our band.
The Mockingbirds blew us away! We had high expectations and they 100% exceeded them. From the first inquiry conversation through the week of the wedding, they were great on communication and answered all of our questions. They were incredible and kept our dance floor entertained and dancing literally all night. For a fun wedding experience we cannot recommend them enough!

Very tight band, formally trained, and with an ability to play a broad range of music. We booked them for our 25th anniversary party, where they put on a rocking performance. We'll definitely be seeking out the services of The Mockingbirds for special events.

All of our guests have been RAVING about The Mockingbirds since the wedding! I cannot say enough good things about them. First, they were easy to work with and organized. Kyle checked in with me a few times a year during the planning stages to go through the whole process of what they offer and what we were looking for. They have great suggestions if you're struggling to decide certain music and they know the industry well. For a high strung bride like myself who worries about everything, I didn't have one stress working with them. They can read the room incredibly well and keep the party going! Our dance floor was full the entire night. All of the musicians are incredibly talented and put on an amazing show. Book The Mockingbirds for your wedding and you won't regret it!!
